The Triptychs is a three-act song cycle about transformation and the liminal space we occupy. Each act is its own scenic and sonic triptych, and may be performed alone. The first, Elegy, explores the bridge between life and death; the second, War, considers the states of suspension during wars; the third, Pageant, looks at aspects of longing. Music ranges from light opera and contemporary musical theatre to sacred choral. This very human piece can be performed fully staged (staging/sets are minimal) or as a concert.
